Another poem about the moon...

This is somewhat related to one of my previous poems "A Poem for Luna"

The full moon, The full moon
It leaves some of us spell bounded
In the dark sky it is the only light
Light that leads the misguided

A glimmer of light surrounded by darkness
And yet it is not consumed by the dark
This moon's light may sometimes disappear
But soon again we would see this moonlight's spark

Once a light guided me but my light is now gone
This light was an illusion, an image that faded away
Will I again find another light?
A light that would never stray

The light of the moon would sometimes fade
But in time it would come back
The previous light shall be replaced by a new one

When the new light comes I'll make sure.....with this light I will never lose track
